Today could be the beginning of the end in Rio...for now. I gave this busy English school here in Rio a chance to give me enough work to support my efforts here in Rio de Janeiro, but they either don't like me or they don't like me, because they have plenty of business and they're not giving me any clients, I guess I'm not the admins pet.

Boa noite, as we say in Brazil. I'm on my way to join a Brazilian Olympic athlete for a bite to eat. Camila Carvalho is one of the six on the rowing team here in Brazil going to Beijing this weekend. Camila Carvalho & Luciana Granato are partners in the double skulls lightweight canoe. I had the pleasure of going to see the team train up in Itatiaia a couple weeks ago.
