New Years Eve in Catalina

Ok, the jet-setting life is great, but you must go back to the family and show face once in a while, especially when you're brother-in-law is taking the whole family to Catalina Island for New Years!

I had gotten back from a 6 week run through Argentina and Brazil on December 29, 2006, just in time to meet my Mom, step-dad, sis, bro-in-law and nephews for a tour to Catalina Island on their sport-fishingboat the Pacific Dawn.

Last week in Rio?

Today could be the beginning of the end in Rio...for now. I gave this busy English school here in Rio a chance to give me enough work to support my efforts here in Rio de Janeiro, but they either don't like me or they don't like me, because they have plenty of business and they're not giving me any clients, I guess I'm not the admins pet.
